Mission
Our mission is to decouple protein production from agricultural land and create an era of food abundance for humanity. We use natural fermentation and a renewable-energy based feedstock to produce protein ingredients. While practically all fermentation methods up until now relied on sugars - which are derived from crops grown on agricultural land - we based our fermentation platform on a feedstock which can be made with just renewable energy. This allows us to bypass the inefficiency of photosynthesis and break free of its limiting constraints.
Team
We're a small, highly technical team with diverse backgrounds from all over the world. Our brewery, R&D, test kitchen and offices are all integrated under a single roof, optimized for high speed iteration.
The Role
At Farmless, we're offering an exciting internship opportunity where you help shape the future of food production. We are looking for a motivated Product Development intern who will join our team to create the best Products using Farmless’ Postbiotic Protein! The role requires creative thinking combined with a deep understanding of Food Ingredient Functionality.
Responsibilities
Research various food ingredient functionality properties of Farmless’ Postbiotic Protein, and use them to develop the most exciting food products ready to demonstrate to our customers.
Research various food sensory properties of Farmless’ Postbiotic Protein, and use them to develop the most exciting food products ready to demonstrate to our customers.
Reseach consumer perseption of Farmless’ Postbiotic Protein in Food Products.
Support business development in hosting product demonstrations with potential customers.
Requirements
A background in food technology. Culinary experience in a plus.
Hands-on experience with ingredient functionality and/or sensory characterisation techniques and data documentation.
Team player with excellent English proficiency.
