Role

Farmless is a fast growing, venture backed startup with an ambitious mission to brew proteins on a planetary scale. We do this by vertically integrating food production: simple feedstocks in, nutritious and tasty proteins out. In this role you will spearhead the downstream processing of our fermented broth. From designing and building upon the first DSP iterations to constructing Farmless’ first of a kind protein brewery, you will lead the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, construct and operate our down stream processing

• Figure out which drying methods are most suitable for our fermentation process

• Optimise DSP process for yields and food functionality at scale

• Source equipment and get it operational

Requirements

• Proven track record in pasturisation, centrifugation, drying, etc. in an industrial setting

• Experience in setting up and/or operating DSP processes fulfilling all food quality & safety requirements.

• Can think from first principles

• Knows how to optimise for speed AND costs

• Can seek out risks while knowing the limits of how far they can go

• Our mission of revolutionising food production truly excites you

• Able to understand and dive into other topics such as fermentation and food application

• Previous startup experience is greatly appreciated :-)
